Q: What does “painless dentistry” mean?
A: Painless dentistry is a means of ensuring your total experience in our office is as stress-free as possible. We will discuss treatment options that may require no local anesthetic and whenever possible, alleviate pain by the means most comfortable to you.

Q: What if I have an emergency?
A: Please call our office as soon as you determine you have a dental emergency. We will be glad to work you into our schedule if you have a dental emergency during regular office hours. After hours, over the weekend and during holidays, please call our office for the doctor’s emergency contact number.

Q: What are my options for replacing missing teeth?
A: There are three treatment options to replace a missing tooth; a Fixed Bridge, a Dental Implant or a Removable Partial.

Q: What if I have a gap in my teeth, a chipped tooth or teeth that do not respond to normal whitening methods?
A: Porcelain Veneers are designed to look like your natural teeth and are individually and permanently attached to the fronts of your existing teeth. Bonded Composite Restorations can also be placed to fill in areas of your teeth and correct chipping and shape problems. Both porcelain veneers and composite restorations are color-matched to the rest of your teeth.

Q: How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
A: The ADA (American Dental Association) recommends most adults and children get a regular cleaning and check up every six months. Others that may have a higher risk of oral diseases should have their dental check ups more frequently. Tobacco and alcohol use, diabetes, pregnancy, periodontal and gum disease, poor oral hygiene and certain medical conditions are some of the many factors that may contribute to our Doctor and hygienists decision on how often you need your dental cleaning and check up.
