Hi, I am Nicky Parfitt and have been with Vendeland Dental Professionals for 10 years, serving our patients and staff in different capacities throughout the years. I am currently Dr. Vendeland's Executive Assistant. I have a wonderful husband, Scott and two school-aged children Carson and Max. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends along with reading, baking, creating healthy meals and treats and outdoor activities.

I started working here at VDP as your Patient Accounts Coordinator in November 2007. I am the one sending all those insurance claims and patient statements, among many other things. I have been in the dental field for over 5 years. I have lived in Renton with my boyfriend for two years, after moving from Centralia, Washington. My favorite things include shopping, hanging out with friends and watching football. I love celebrity gossip and my favorite TV show of all times is "Friends". My Boyfriend and I have been Seahawks season ticket holders, along with two of our very close friends since 2006. We go to every home game and never miss an away game. Although I am currently unmarried and without children, I hope that will all change within the next 3-4 years (wink, wink)!

I havd been in the dental field in several different capacities since 1987. My employment with Dr. Vendeland started July of 2008 and I am very proud to be a part of his team. My husband Steve and I have two adorable boys, Davis and Keaton. They keep us very busy playing all sports all year around. We are Mariner season ticket holders - GO MARINERS! In our very lilttle spare time, we love to spend time at our cabin on the Stilaquamish river. We have two dogs, Woody and Griffey, that just can't get enough of the river.

Hi, I am Jill Cosand, Treatment Coordinator for Vendeland Dental Professionals. I have been in the dental profession for over 13 years, specializing in explaining treatment needs, insurance benefits and scheduling appointments for our patients. Outside of the office, I share my life with Steve and my three wonderful kids, Jessica, Michael and Miranda ( and our dog, Buddy, too!) As a family we enjoy playing and watching soccer, riding snowmobiles and four-wheelers, and hanging out together.

I earned my dental hygiene degree from Lake Washington Technical College in 1997 and have been working for Dr. Vendeland and Dr. Chen ever since! Prior to that I worked as an accountant for several advertising agencies in Seattle. I love academia and have attended CWU, the University of Texas and the University of Maryland in Europe, along with Lake Washington Tech. I enjoy my profession and find it both challenging and satisfying in helping people gain and maintain optimal oral health. I have two teenage girls that keep me young. We all volunteer for the Kent Animal Shelter by “fostering” kittens and puppies who are too young to be adopted. It has been a great family hobby! I love to travel, cook, read and hike, along with spending time with my kids!

Hello, my name is Amy. I started my dental journey over 20 years ago while still in high school. I landed in this exemplary practice in the year 2000. I was searching for a quality, flexible and fun loving office that would allow me to focus on my young family. I have been blessed with two children, Megan and Jack. We are a very active family that enjoys spending time at our “retreat” in Ronald, WA. I love gardening, my critters and of course the Seattle Mariners.

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I have been a hygienist for Vendeland Dental Professionals since 1983. My kids have left the nest, and now I spend my time working on my new custom-built home in Maple Valley. I also love playing with my Labrador retrievers- Rocky and Kubota. I enjoy bicycling, skiing, kayaking, gardening and wine tasting – reds, of course!

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a hygienist here at Vendeland Dental Professionals. I received my Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in June of 2000. I love working with patients and motivating them to improve their oral health. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two young boys, Alexander and Evan. I also enjoy playing tennis, soccer and taking scenic hikes.

Hello there! My name is Renata and I can be one of your favorite dental hygienists. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, as well as a Certified Dental Assistant-and proud of it! I was born and raised in Poland and made the United States my second home in 1984. I have been in dentistry since 1989, and supporting Vendeland Dental Professionals since 1990. I am passionate about the dental hygiene profession because it is a never-ending challenge. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband Marek, and our three daughters Nicole, Madeline and Isabella. I also love to read, cook, hike and rollerblade.

I have been in the dental field since 1972 and working for Vendeland Dental Professionals as a dental assistant since 1988. At one point, I took a 10 year hiatus to be with my children, who are now grown. My husband Jim, of 34 years, and I enjoy our grandson Hayden a great deal. Because of our wonderful patients and staff I’ve had a lot of fun and fulfillment throughout the years. I enjoy cooking, being a grandma, and spending time with family at our property in Montana.

Hi, my name is Melissa. I am a Certified Dental Assistant. I became a CDA in June of 1997, and began working for Vendeland Dental Professionals in April of 2000. A few of the things I love about VDP are the smiles, energy and consistent learning environment. I am married, with a stepson, Cody, and two young daughters, Kaitlyn and Hailey. I love to scrapbook and throw “Scrapbooking Parties”!

Hi, I’m Susan. I am a dental assistant here at VDP and have been working in the dental field since 1996. I enjoy seeing the positive impact that our great dental care can have on our patient’s lives. I was born and raised in the Seattle area. I married my college sweetheart in 1993, and we have been very blessed to have a daughter Ava, and a son Aiden. In my free time I enjoy traveling, skiing, scrapbooking or sitting down with a good book.

Hi my name is Michelle. I've been dental assisting since 2001 and have been in several practices prior to VDP. I'm blessed to be a part of such a professional and compassionate team. I've been fascinated with dentistry since my very first visit to the dentist. I hope to accomplish my goal of becoming a dentist in the near future. But as for now, I enjoy learning the finer details in dentistry from the two great educators that I now work with. I am married to my husband of 11 years. We have three beautiful daughters, J'nell Claire, Nia-Chanelle and Neaveh-Me'Chelle. Aside from dentistry, I enjoy outdoor activities, sports, music, reading, traveling and most of all, spending quality time with friends and family.

Hi, my name is Jessica. I graduated from Everest College in 2007, with my dental assisting certificate. I also have my Bachelors of Science from the University of Washington.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Dan. We have two dogs, Saki and Peter. I have chosen the dental field because I love seeing people smile, and knowing that I am part of a team that has helped make a difference in the lives of our patients.
